Your first priority is personal safety, not the tyre. Do not stop suddenly in a traffic lane or attempt a wheel change where passing vehicles put you at risk.
1. Slow down smoothly and find a safe place
Keep a firm hold on the steering wheel, reduce speed gradually and avoid harsh braking. Move as far away from moving traffic as possible. A well-lit parking area, service road or wide hard shoulder is safer than a narrow lane.
Switch on your hazard lights. If the vehicle is in a dangerous position, remain behind a safety barrier when possible and contact the relevant emergency authority.
2. Check the tyre without taking unnecessary risks
Look for an obviously low tyre, a visible nail, a cut, a bulge or damage to the wheel. Do not crawl underneath the car or stand next to live traffic. If the tyre is completely flat, driving further may destroy the tyre and damage the wheel.
3. Share accurate details with the mobile tyre team
Send your live location, vehicle make and model, tyre size and a clear photo of the damaged tyre if it is safe to take one. The tyre size appears on the sidewall in a format such as 225/45 R18. This helps the team prepare the right repair equipment or replacement option.
4. Arrange mobile tyre assistance
A mobile technician can inspect a repairable tread puncture or bring a replacement tyre to your location. Arrival time depends on traffic, location and availability. Our target response is 25 minutes across Dubai, but safety and road conditions always come first.
Can you drive on a flat tyre?
Normally, no. Even a short distance can damage the sidewall and wheel. Some run flat tyres allow limited driving at reduced speed, but only within the vehicle and tyre manufacturer limits. When unsure, stop safely and request advice.
